Wellness & Mental Health Supports

Cartoon hand holding heart shaped hand mirror with face reflected in mirror

During this time of change and challenge, each one of us are doing our best, every day.  Most of us are experiencing uncertainty and stress.  With so much we can't control, it is essential that we take action where we can to take care of ourselves and those around us.

Don't forget to be compassionate with yourself and others.

This page has some helpful links as well as contacts for a crisis.  These resources are for students, families and staff to help themselves and each other and to make connections to additional supports.

Each school has a Coordination of Service Team (COST) to provide support services to all District students.  If you would like some additional support for your student, please reach out to your school's Principal or your school's COST Coordinator.

Please take care of yourself and your household and follow public health guidance to protect yourself, your family and all vulnerable members of our community.

Care Solace:  A wellness resource for families

HUSD is partnering with Care Solace, a new resource that makes it easier for families to connect with mental health and wellness resources and providers in the community for non-school based services (outside of school).  Services can be for parents/guardians or other family members.

For services for your student, reach out to your school’s COST Specialist or Family Engagement Specialist

What is Care Solace?

Care Solace provides a Concierge Service, where Care Solace staff do the work of finding and connecting you to mental health and wellness providers that speak your language, are specific for the kind of care you are looking for, and can accept the kind of insurance you have. They are able to make connections even when you don’t have insurance.

The Concierge Service team is available 24/7 and supports families through the entire process of getting connected.  They only refer to trusted, ethical providers.  The Concierge Service team speaks English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese.

Using Care Solace is CONFIDENTIAL.  Access to the Concierge Service team is FREE OF CHARGE.
