Welcome to Hayward Unified School District's Transportation Department

If you qualify for free or reduced meals you also qualify for free or reduced transportation.

HUSD provides home-to-school busing for eligible students in kindergarten through sixth grade. While home-to-school transportation is our primary job, we also handle a number of study/field trips and many of the high schools athletic teams to and from their competitions, safely and economically.  HUSD also transports school students to and from the Regional Occupation Program (ROP), as well as, redirected students in support of the No Child Left Behind Act.
