Design Team Recognition Event

DSC04805-700.jpg

On December 13, 2011, a special recognition event was held at MLK Middle School to honor the hard work and massive contributions of the 2005-2006 Design Team. The event included a tour of the facility highlighting new classroom technologies, presentation of certificates to Design Team members, and presentations on how HUSD is moving forward in developing its new Facilities Master Plan. The Fiscal Integreity and Transparency Advisory Group (FITAG) is honored to follow in the footsteps of the Design Team's success as we work together to plan for the future.

Membership

The Fiscal Integrety and Transparency Advisory Group (FITAG) is most effective when it has broad representation all across the HUSD community.  Students, staff, Board members, and community representatives will be selected either by the group they represent (e.g. PTA, Chamber of Commerce) or by school sites.  Parents will be selected from a list of names that are generated from responses to this website, announcements at the school sites, or directly from people who hear about the committee and contact the business office by email or telephone.

The participation of a broad base across the community is a vital component of this group's membership.
